Central Carolina Technical College (CCTC) will grant college level credit for secondary school students from certified Project Lead the Way (PLTW) schools who satisfy the following requirements:
- Students must complete the PLTW courses with a grade of C or higher and attain at least the minimum score on the PLTW End-of-Course Assessment for each course (See chart below)
- Students must meet Central Carolina Technical College admission requirements
- Students will have no more than two years following high school graduation to request the exemption credit.
An official high school transcript and PLTW score report must be requested by the student and sent from the high school and PLTW to CCTC/Student Records. Once the official transcript and scored report are on file in Student Records, it will be evaluated for approved exemption credit and a grade of “E” (exempt) will be entered on the student’s transcript. Notification of credit awarded will be sent to the student’s CCTC email.
